helping our friend Chase learn to hold down violent inebriated people 🤝
this is why we train Jiu Jitsu.
1. Live Video of 2 on 1 Takedown & Restraint Class:
Chase is in the Camo Rash Guard and Black Shorts.
2.) When people ask me “what’s the point of learning Jiu Jitsu?” 🤔
this is the point:
Even if you don’t have to fight, someone else will.
That is a guarantee.
The gym is a group immune system.
We are preparing each for real violence & aggression whether we realize it or not.
Our Friend Chase Hudson is a first responder with Portsmouth EMT and he has to learn to hold people down who are unpredictable, inebriated, and violent.
If the gym cannot be a place to prepare and practice for these kinds of problems,
then we have failed.
3.) I call Chase to hear his story ☎️
4.) Our Plan ♟️♟️♟️
Class Below Influenced by
a.) Gracie Combatives Programs.
AND
b.) Ecological Approach Game Dynamics.
Also in the Room: Master Rick & Mike Wells, adding an Accumulative 50+ Years of Experience from the Lucasville Prison System.
5.) Help your friends.
It’s easy to forget why you train. Maybe you start to:
-Lose focus.
-Get caught up in status battles.
-doubt your training.
But these opportunities remind us why.
You don’t have to be the premier expert.
Pull your heads together.
Help make each other a little more safe.
…..”help make each other a little more safe”….
Love it!!!
