STANCE.002 - Conversation 💬🔫

thinking on a few productive CONVERSATION strategies in hopes of developing a solid default STANCE to conversation of any kind.

0.) Something i’ve noticed about my current STANCE in conversation that i’d like to change.

I’m a writer and a talker, I have things I want to say.

I notice I can interrupt easily when I am excited about the topic the at hand.

I have seen people kind of deflate, when I do this.

Then I have to ask them,

“Please, continue! Sorry I cut you off, I just got excited.”

Often people are gracious enough, they’re happy to continue,

but I want to have more patience to listen. I want to be a real listener. There feels like there is some power in that.
